FISH EYES
A series of seven videos, each with two 15-minute segments.

BEYOND THE NEWS: RACISM
25 mins., divided into 6 discussion segments. This compelling video is for people who think they don’t need a video about racism. Tackles how prejudice and privilege still affect jobs, education, the judicial system, and the church.
BABAKIUERIA
Filmed in Australia, this video for youth and adults is a satire where the roles of blacks and whites have been reversed. The title comes from the name of the much loved meeting place of modern Australians, "Barbecue Area". (30 min)
CINDERELLA AND ME: Being Excluded
For ages 2 - 8 years, this is a story enacted using puppets and real people. In this story classmates decide that Audrey can’t play the part of Cinderella because she doesn’t "look" the part. . (14 minutes)
FREE INDEED
Video to use with youth and adults. Challenges viewers and raises awareness about the privileges that come with being white in North America. It encourages exploration of old assumptions and for ways to break down racism. (25 minutes)
HATE AND DESTRUCTION
The lyrics and images of this music video (by the British group Soul II Soul) aim to provoke young people to think about the dangers of hate and intolerance. (4 minutes)
PLAYING FAIR series
This is a series of 4 videos to provide discussion starters about racism, respect and equality, for children 6 to 12 years. (14 minutes each)

The story of the unsteady beginnings of a friendship between Mela, a recent emigrant from
India, and her classmate Allison.

About a young Aboriginal foster child whose only playmate is his dog. Jamie is a lonely white boy
who is afraid of dogs and has some strange ideas about Aboriginal people. Together, they find friendship and

TALK TO ME
A segmented video, accompanied by a user guide. Secondary school students from B.C. discuss a variety of issues such as racism, immigration, gender inequality, class and homophobia. (45 minutes)
TEENS AGAINST VIOLENCE: TAKING CHARGE
The events take place in Toronto high schools where young activists engage their peers in discussion and role-plays about sexual harassment, homophobia, racism and urban violence. (26 minutes)
UNLEARNING INDIAN STEREOTYPES
For ages 6 to adult, an adaptation of a filmstrip about common stereotypes about Native peoples as portrayed in books, films, etc. (14 minutes)
YOU’VE GOT THE KEY
Video and guide have been designed to assist trainers in mediation and peer mediation in the critical examination of conflict mediation as a forum to address racial conflict. (30 minutes)

LIVING GOD’S WAY
This is an adaptation of six Bible stories for children from Ralph Milton’s Living God’s Way. Each story is approximately 5 minutes long.
PARABLES FROM NATURE
For children ages 2 to 8 years, there are six videos with three stories on each video. Each video is approximately 10 minutes. Uses animal tales in a contemporary approach to the stories Jesus told. Comes with suggestions for follow-up activities.

Seven young people share how they heard the news when a loved one died, what helped and how they moved on. The book, Flowers for the Ones You’ve Known - Unedited Letters from Bereaved Teens, comes with the video. (20 minutes)

BACK ALLEY BUDDIES
Young high school students illustrate how high expectations can be derailed by negative pressure. Very good for discussion of peer pressure. (14 minutes)

This video speaks directly to teens and offers a valuable tool to teachers, counsellors and community youth leaders who want to explore the homophobic language heard both in and out of schools - the words themselves, their origins, how young people feel about them, and how to overcome the hurt and anger they cause. Stories of Lesbian and Gay Youth
From the National Film Board of Canada, this video has two parts, about 20 minutes each. Part one highlights the relationships between the youth interviewed and their families. The second part of the video focuses more on what it is like to be lesbian or gay in our society.
SWIM TEAM’S SPLASH
Presents a real-life situation with a moral dilemma that involves bullying. At the end of the presentation, the situation is reviewed, and questions for group discussion are given. (9 minutes)

AFTER BAPTISM
Part III: Spiritual and Developmental Needs of Young Children. This third section of the video has sections on storytelling, discipline and use of symbols.
CHRISTIAN YEAR (THE)
Video highlights the seasons of the Christian year with six 10-minute segments which can be used individually. Can be used with youth groups, teacher training sessions and worship committees.
TIME TO MOURN (A): A TIME TO DANCE
A video for teachers of primary aged children. The teacher talks with children (6 to 8 years) about death and life, using the making of bread together as a vehicle for discussion. (27 min)
WILL OUR CHILDREN HAVE FAITH
Divided into three thirty minute segments, this is a video program by John Westerhoff. 1) Remembering Who We Are; 2) Made Not Born: Life in the Church; 3) Pilgrims: Living Into Our Baptism
CHILDREN ARE NOT THE PROBLEM is a reflection on the learning environment and how children learn intuitively about racist attitudes towards other children from the adult world. (29 minutes)
DEATH, DYING & BEREAVEMENT: A CHILD’S GRIEF is a video for parents and leader demonstrating skills and techniques used to help children express their grief. (55 minutes)
