Theological Rationale
"The use of electronic means of communication
is part of our Ministry of Communication, our call to
'Go into all the world to proclaim the good news to the whole creation.'
(Mark 16:15 NRSV ).
The use of electronic communication is one way,
among many,
that the church goes into all the world" today.
It is the most public forum we have
for others to find out about what we are doing."

to encourage the use of electronic communication in congregations and presbyteries by facilitating training sessions in the following skills:
a. to use e-mail
b. to convert documents for Web Page Posting
c. to post simple pages to the web, and
d. to use standard Internet tools for research
• Web Site
Purpose:
"The Maritime Conference Web Site is a tool for outreach, information, promotion and community building for Conference and its Committees and
other groups which relate through representation or financial support."
Vision:
It is envisioned:
that the Maritime Conference Web Site will be a tool to tell the story of the Maritime Conference.
It
is hoped:
-
that the Web Site will both invite voice and encourage hearing
-
that
we may see and share glimpses of
the work in which Conference Committees, Presbyteries and Congregations
are engaged.
