A
Prayer for Sunday
Lord Jesus, by the actions of the Holy
Spirit, join us now with the praises and prayers of your
people on earth and in heaven.
In this passage of time and throughout
the scope of all time, may we, in both body and spirit,
dwell in perfect union with all the company of the redeemed
who glorify You this day.
Pour into our existence all such spiritual
gifts as may be needed by us to accomplish Your Will. Lift
us from the tumult of 'things' into the Perfect Peace of
your Presence.
May your dreams become our desires. May
what you propose become our purpose. And may your Love
issue through us to all people. Into your care and protection,
we yield ourselves entirely for the glory of God. Amen.
