The South Shore Presbytery includes everything west of the Halifax County line right through to and including Yarmouth. Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational churches were found throughout the area.
This is an area of our Conference which is still heavily dependent on the fishing industry, but, thankfully, is not as devastated as some other areas. Quiet villages and towns, well-maintained churches and a love of the sea marks so much of this elongated Presbytery which - surprise - is on the south shore of Nova Scotia.
